Bambi Gothic in preproduction!

Mon Nov 9, 2009, 8:23 AM
What is Bambi Gothic?
It's a collection of deliciously twisted fairy tale illustrations that show you what comes next. What happens when you take Alice back to Wonderland in the modern day? Is Red fast enough to escape a wolf hopped up on steroids? Where did Sleeping Beauty get the nose ring? Which one is Beauty and which one is Beast? And why is Bopeep carrying a shotgun?
These answers and many more will appear in this 48 page graphite masterpiece.

I have been drawing since I was 2 years old. At twelve i discovered Fantasy Illustration in the pages of Savage Sword of Conan #56. Sword wielding barbarians, pissed off dragons, and maidens in peril, all deftly inked by Tony Dezuniga, all set my imagination on fire. Then came Frazetta, the Ballentyne collection. I still have 4 of the 5 books. I still remeber my first set of inks, sitting in my room, mirroring what i saw on the glossy page.
In the mid 90's I pencilled and inked the Shards Comic Book issues 1-3, even did some inking for Zen The Intergalactic Ninja. I also worked Revolutionary Press on the Nightengale and Blondage cover illustrations. Sometime years later 2002 or so I painted 110 images for the War Gods Trading Card Game. Each of the paintings represented a Greek God in a new and fairly cool way.
More time passed and i discovered the work of Adam Hughes. 2004 was the year i decided to commit to Graphite entirely. I sold my first piece on Ebay for a whopping $25.00! Now I average 3 to 4 postings a week. My art has been to places I never dreamed ; Canada, England, Austria, Australia,Denmark, and New York City!
My website is [link]
I am also available for commissions. My rates are fairly simple. $50.00 per character in graphite. Inks add $25.00 per character. Color depends on the project.
